Wankhede Stadium At 50: Legends Grace Golden Jubilee Celebration In Mumbai

The 50th anniversary celebration of the Wankhede Stadium concluded on Sunday (January 19, 2025). The finale was attended by India and Mumbai legends like Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Dilip Vengsarkar, Ravi Shastri, Ajinkya Rahane, and Diana Edulji. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had earlier honoured eight surviving members of its first-ever First-Class match played at the iconic venue as part of the golden jubilee celebration.
