He not just became the fastest Indian batter to hit an IPL ton, surpassing Yusuf Pathan's record of a 37-ball century, but also became the record-holder of the second fastest IPL ton ever. The record for the fastest IPL century is of Chris Gayle (30 balls).

As Suryavanshi completed his maiden IPL ton with a six off Rashid Khan in the 11th over, the whole crowd of Sawai Mansingh Stadium stood up to applaud the young kid's feat.

Former India captain and current Rajasthan Royals coach was also seen standing up from his wheelchair and applauding with a big smile on his face.

Many Gujarat Titans players also congratulated him after he was dismissed by Prasidh Krishna in the next over. He made a match-winning 101 off 38 balls, which also made him Player of the Match after RR registered an easy eight-wicket win.

Earlier, asked to bat first, GT made 209/4 thanks to brilliant half-centuries from captain Shubhman Gill (84) and Jos Buttler (50 not out). RR chased down the target in just 15.5 overs.

After this win, the Royals have kept their playoff hopes alive as they are in eighth place in the points table with three wins in 10 matches played so far.
