Not only did Max Verstappen clinch his fourth consecutive pole at Suzuka on Saturday, but he also set a new lap record circuit with a blistering 1m 26.983s -- the fastest in Suzuka라이브 바카라 Formula 1 history.

The Dutchman has won the last three of the Japanese Grand Prixs -- 2022, 2023, and 2024.

With Saturday라이브 바카라 pole, Verstappen now has four career poles at Suzuka, tying him with Lewis Hamilton for the second-most at the circuit. The all-time record, of course, belongs to Michael Schumacher with eight. Read the full qualifying summary HERE.

With the pole on Saturday, Verstappen became the fourth different polesitter from four Qualifying sessions of the 2025 Formula 1 season, joining Lando Norris (Australia), Lewis Hamilton (China Sprint), and Oscar Piastri (China GP).

Grass fire is becoming a real concern at the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix. The free practise and qualifying sessions at Suzuka Circuit has disrupted by multiple grass fires caused by sparks from the cars igniting the unusually dry grass surrounding the track.

Despite the FIA's preventive measures, including trimming and watering the grass, fires continued to occur, leading to several red-flag interruptions. Let's see what happens today

So the formation lap kicksoff!

Overnight rain has left the Suzuka circuit damp, and the skies still holding the threat of more showers.

There's an 80% chance of rain during the race, and a fresh band of rain is expected to approach from the southwest just about an hour before lights out.

The track temperature hovers around 17°C, and teams are on high alert for sudden shifts that could shake up strategies. Wet or dry, buckle up -- the Japanese Grand Prix is about to start!

It's the third lap! can see the patches of damp still linger around the Suzuka Circuit. Also, a few cars kicking up light spray on their out laps.

But guess what Max goes quickest. So far, so smooth for the Red Bull ace. Norris driving second, Piastri third. Japan has always been a difficult place for overtakes.

There hasnt been any changes to the top 8 with 8 laps covered. But you can say that the tension is bubbling at McLaren! Piastri is looking forward to overtake Norris with a clean move into Turn One. But team dynamics ....Howver, Max Verstappen is pulling away comfortably, now 1.8 seconds clear of the chasing McLarens.

Alex Albon on the radio - "The shifts are so bad, what have we done to them?". He is not the only one having troubles with the gear shifts also the quickest man Verstappen is dealing with it.

Oscar Piastri is turning up the heat as he clocks another fastest lap and closes in on teammate. Further down the grid, local hero Yuki Tsunoda is within half a second of Pierre Gasly in the fight for P12. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc is feeling the pressure from George Russell for the battle of 4th.

21 laps! Kimi Antonelli has jumped up to fourth on medium tyres, staying ahead of Ferrari라이브 바카라 Lewis Hamilton who's running the harder compound. Hadjar is holding firm in sixth, while Piastri makes his first pit stop and switched to hard tyres. George Russell has followed suit, rejoining on hards.

Verstappen, Norris, and Leclerc all dived in for hard tyres. Norris had a rapid stop and came out side by side with Verstappen, sensing a golden opportunity. But as they exited the pit lane, Verstappen held his line, forcing Norris wide and onto the grass.

Norris fumed over team radio: “He forced me off,” while Verstappen coolly replied: “He drove himself into the grass.” Tensions rising, strategies splitting -- this battle is far from over.

26/53 | The youngest driver on the grid, Kimi Antonelli, is now leading the Japanese Grand Prix! The Mercedes rookie has stayed out on his medium tyres and finds himself ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who라이브 바카라 on hards.

Carlos Sainz has been noted for exceeding track limits at Turn 17, gaining an advantage. The stewards confirmed their decision. Sainz had previously received a three-place grid penalty for impeding Lewis Hamilton during qualifying. ​

Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the replacement of Lewis Hamilton at the Mercedes has been a disappointment. Born on August 25, 2006, in Bologna, Italy, he is an 18-year-old racing driver, son of former driver Marco Antonelli. Kimi was a start aslo at the Mercedes karting program in 2019. He won titles in the Italian and ADAC F4 championships in 2022, and the Formula Regional Middle East and European categories in 2023. In 2025, Antonelli made his F1 debut with Mercedes to drive alongside George Russell, being the youngest on the grid.

Lap 35/53:

It's again Vertsappen in the lead on the hard tyres ahead of the chasing Norris and Piastri and the rest.

Max Verstappen continues to command the front, while behind him, the real drama is unfolding in papaya. Piastri is now within DRS range of teammate Norris, setting up a tense intra-team duel. If Norris drops to third, not only will he lose position -- he’ll also surrender the championship lead to Verstappen.

Birthday drive for Piastri! The Aussie turns 24 today and is celebrating it right where he belongs -- on the track. Currently running third at Suzuka, he's just behind teammate Lando Norris, pushing hard in the hunt for P2.

Lap 53/53:

It's the final lap at Suzuka and Max Verstappen holds a 1.5-second lead over Lando Norris!

Despite a late push from Oscar Piastri earlier, McLaren chose not to swap their drivers. With Piastri now drifting further back, the reigning world champion is just moments away from a record fourth consecutive Japanese Grand Prix victory.

"We Keep Pushing" are the words of Max Verstappen after conquering Suzuka yet again -- becoming the first driver in Formula 1 history to win the Japanese Grand Prix four times in a row. Also, it is Red Bull engine partner Honda's home win.

Norris gets P2 and the birthday boy, P3. Btw, it marks Oscar's 12th podium.

Piastri, when asked if the starting grid is a real thing that mattered today:

"The pace today was really, really good. I was happy with that.

“But the track position around here is so important. I think yesterday was the day you effectively won the race, and I didn’t do a good enough job."
