The 31-year-old admitted that he hadn’t expected to win, considering the tough competition from Harmanpreet Singh, Sanjay, and Udita. “Everyone had played well throughout the year, and I was just happy to be nominated,” he said. “When I actually won, it was an incredible feeling.”

Rohidas, regarded as one of the world라이브 바카라 best first-rushers, revealed that while he hadn’t discussed his nomination with his teammates, his friends and well-wishers were confident in his chances. “People kept telling me I would win, but I believed it was in God라이브 바카라 hands. I’m just grateful for the recognition.”

Winning the award has further strengthened his motivation. “This pushes me to work even harder,” he said. “Hockey is a team game, and I owe this to my teammates, coaching staff, and family for their constant support.”

His family, watching the awards ceremony on YouTube, were thrilled with his achievement. “They told me to keep playing for the nation, and awards will keep coming. Their happiness is my biggest motivation,” Rohidas shared.

Looking ahead, he remains focused on the FIH Pro League in June and the Asia Cup, both crucial for qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. He also cherishes the 2024 Paris Olympics, where India defeated Australia for the first time in 52 years, before clinching back-to-back Olympic Bronze medals.

“It was a historic win, one that will always stay with me,” Rohidas concluded.
