Brandon Clarke praised the Memphis Grizzlies' unselfish play after earning their fifth win in a row by beating the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. (More Sports News)
The Grizzlies had to overcome a nine-point half-time deficit but put in a big second-half performance to triumph 139-126 at home.
Jaren Jackson Jr impressed as he scored 15 of his 29 points in the third quarter. Desmond Bane also finished with 20, while Luke Kennard recorded a season-high 27 points to help the Grizzlies to the win.
Perhaps more impressive though was that Memphis racked up a combined 38 assists, with Bane notching 14 on his own.
"I think [the assists] show that we're playing our ball well, we pass the ball well," Clarke said. "We've got guys that are really, really good.
"We've got Luke [Kennard], Jaren [Jackson Jr], Dez [Desmond Bane], all those guys. It's hard to guard them, but our team is very unselfish, and we play to win every night. That's all it is.
"We were mad [at half-time] because we know how much better we can be. We were just talking about things that we could fix to be better in the second half.
"[The second half changed because they were] getting stops, [doing] stuff that makes us, us."바카라 웹사이트
It was Jackson's influence that spurred Memphis, who are third in the Western Conference, to the win.
Asked if the Grizzlies had a chance to make it out of the West in the playoffs this season, Jackson said: "100%.
"That's the main goal, so we don't really care about anything else if I'm being honest."바카라 웹사이트
