The seminar, which was hosted in collaboration with the Indian Golf Union, was attended by 49 delegates from India and one from Bangladesh.

The Level 3 TARS is the highest tier of the R&A라이브 바카라 Rules Education Programme. The two-day event includes interactive role-play sessions and modules on course marking, local rules, pace of play, and dispute resolution.

The event in Greater Noida was led by Roger Bathurst (Chairman, Rules of The R&A), Jin Woo Kim (R&A Assistant Director), Eddy Putra (former R&A Rules Committee adviser), Henry Arabelo (Asia Pacific Golf Confederation Tournament Director), and R Shyam Sunder (IGU Rules Director).

“This is a terrific part of our mission to promote the game of golf to the world,” Bathurst said at a press conference on the eve of the seminar on 26 April. “It is an enormous privilege to be here to organise the Level 3 TARS in India.”

Bathurst, a key figure in global golf governance, said India holds “huge potential” in playing the sport, and highlighted that high-quality training will be key in supporting golf라이브 바카라 growth.

He also pointed out how golf라이브 바카라 debut as an Olympic sport is increasing the accessibility of the sport. After a 100-year gap, golf, usually seen as a pastime for the rich, was made a part of the 2016 Rio Olympics.

“I love the fact that the Olympics is making golf less elitist and more a game for people,” he said. “The game is growing… and by the use of rules education, we can help it grow further.”

Brijinder Singh, President of the Indian Golf Union, was also appreciative of the event, saying that the organisation is “fully committed to promoting the sport of golf to various nooks and corners of the sub-continent.”
