The Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) has unveiled the trophies for the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup set to run from January 13 to 19, 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. (More Sports News)
Organized under the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the first edition of Kho Kho World Cup will feature 21 men's and 20 women's teams from 24 countries across six continents.
The event will have two trophies – a blue trophy for the men's championship and a green trophy for the women's event. These trophies have a modern design, reflecting the essence of the sport, with crystal detailing and golden figures.

The Federation also introduced ‘Tejas’ and ‘Tara,’ gazelle mascots for the tournament. Representing speed, agility, and teamwork, the mascots are dressed in blue and orange sporting attire with traditional Indian motifs, reflecting the sport's heritage.
Kho Kho World Cup: Broadcasting Partners
The KKFI has partnered with several organizations to support the tournament. EaseMyTrip will manage travel logistics for participants. Star Sports Network and Doordarshan will handle TV broadcasts, with Disney+ Hotstar as the OTT partner. GMR Sports is the Silver Sponsor, and District by Zomato will manage ticketing services.
Sudhanshu Mittal, President of the Kho Kho Federation of India, expressed gratitude to the stakeholders supporting the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025. "The World Cup will be live-streamed for free on Disney+ Hotstar and broadcast on DD Sports, marking a significant step towards taking Kho Kho to the Olympics," he said.
