The Global Esports Betting Monitor, a quarterly report by Abios which is a subsidiary of Kambi, a major sports betting supplier that has a network of over 40 operators, has released its data to spill out some interesting facts about how the final quarter of the year 2024 went for the industry. As per the report, Counter-Strike continued to lead the betting sector in esports. The game pocketed 64% of the total betting market share across Kambi라이브 바카라 network of over 40 operators.
While Counter-Strike continued with its healthy lead at the top, two titles, VALORANT and League Of Legends, made significant gains. League of Leends grew 2% in the quarter and now accounts for 26% of the total e-sports betting. VALORANT's significant gain saw it rise from 3% in 2023 to 5% in 2024.
On the other hand, MOBA title Dota 2 saw a 4% decline in its overall numbers for the year 2024. While Dota 2's decline is a little surprising, the rise of VALORANT and League of Legends is on expected lines.

Another interesting data that emerged from the report was that Gen Z players have overtaken millenials on betting on E-sports. Gen Z now makes up 44% of the total sample size. The same number for year 2023 stood at 36%.
Also live betting accounted for 46% of total Counter-Strike bets in the final quarter of 2024. In VALORANT, live betting accounted for 28%.
