The much-awaited Housefull 5 teaser was unveiled today, April 30, which marks 15 years of the franchise. The first instalment of Housefull released on April 30, 2010.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 has an ensemble star cast, including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh, among others. The fifth instalment of the franchise promises to provide a full dose of entertainment to the audience.
The teaser of Housefull 5 movie not only gives the first glimpse of Akshay Abhishek and Riteish but also rest of the star-studded cast -Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Chunky Panday, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
It shows them having a gala time on a cruise and suddenly someone is murdered and there comes a twist. It is a total laugh riot with endless twists and turns and some foot-tapping songs.
Sharing the teaser on his Instagram handle, Akshay Kumar wrote, ''15 Years Ago Today..... He also revealed Housefull 5 release date, which is June 6, 2025.
Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It was announced last year in June 2023 and was supposed to release in Diwali 2024. Later, the release date was pushed to June 6, 2025.
Housefull (2010) and Housefull 2 (2012) were directed by Sajid Khan. The first instalment starred Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Boman Irani and Chunky Pandey. John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Asin and Rishi Kapoor starred in the second one. Housefull 3 (2016) was directed by Sajid-Farhad and Housefull 4 (2019) was helmed by only Farhad Samji. Housefull 4 starred Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda.
