It's all over at the Kalinga Super Cup 2025 first semi-final, and Mohun Bagan fell short against FC Goa, who secure their final berth.

A terrific chance, as the Spanish duo of Borja Herrera and Iker Guarrotxena combine. Herrera runs down the right and play the ball inside the box with pace, but Guarrotxena can't get either foot to the ball to knock it home. A great chance goes begging.

All of the forward runs are coming from FC Goa at the moment, and the Bagan defenders have to soak up all the pressure. Dheeraj is still not looking comfortable, opting to come out at every chance. Goa are smelling blood at the moment.

Mohun Bagan make a surprise break, as Nuno Reis plays a fantastic pass to free up Salahudheen down the right side. The midfielder goes around the goalkeeper, but holds on to the ball for too long, and his shot is cleared off the line by Bhanwal. Sahal attempts a bicycle kick at the rebound, but misses.

What was that from Borja Herrera!! The midfielder puts in a curling delivery from his left foot, and it flies over everyone -- including Dheeraj Singh's arm -- and lodges itself in the top corner. A goal, straight from the corner.

Questions have to be asked about the goalkeeper's positioning. He was too far up ahead too soon. This should not have gone past his gloves, but it has, and the Mariners find themselves two goals down with half an hour of football left to play.

Dejan Drazic is played through, and the Serbian is taken out of the contest with by a sliding Dheeraj Singh. It's the clearest penalty decision there is, and Gurrotxena steps up and makes no mistake. Gaurs take the lead.

Boring Singh finds his name in the referee's books after a tackle on Tangri. In the resulting free-kick, Ashique cuts in from the left and plays it to Suhail, but the defence puts a block in. Sahal finds himself with a chance and lets a shot, but Bhanwal clears off the line. Excellent chance for the Mariners.

A fantastic free-kick from Sahal Abdul Samad. The winger takes the set-piece from the left side of the box, 25 yards from goal. He curls in a brilliant strike, barely missing the top corner as Hrithik Tiwari came in flying. Probably clipped the top post, too. Mariners are knocking on the door.

Mohun Bagan are showing more willingness to run forward since the goal, and Ashique is a constant thorn down the left side, taking on defenders, but the support is letting him down at the moment.

Boris tries to reduce the pressure but making a run forward and shooting from 30 yards out, but it's just dragged wide.

What a brilliant response from the Mariners! Ashique Kuruniyan takes on Boris SIngh, beating the defender with his pace and crossing it across the face of the goal, and Suhail Bhat has an easy tap in to give Mohun Bagan the equaliser within three minutes.

A terrific free-kick routine from Borja Herrera, as the Spaniard plays a one-two with Boris Singh and then puts in an excellent curling delivery, and it finds itself lodged in the far corner! Brison Fernandes celebrats, but replays show that it probably went off the thigh of Abhishek Suryavanshi. We will see who the goal is credited to, but FC Goa celebrate.

Well, Brison is credited with the goal, as he got the slighest bit of touches before the ball went inside.

The game has been quite flat in the opening stages, with neither team able to put together passes in the opposition's final third. Most of the play is happening in the midfield area, but FC Goa are showing more attacking impetus in the early stages.

Boris Singh tries to go forward down the right wing, but Amandeep puts in an excellent tackle. Nothing comes of the throw.
