Audience Reactions
“An absolute must-watch! I just watched this movie today in theaters, and WOW! it completely blew me away, especially as a horror fan! It exceeded all my expectations and kept me hooked from start to finish! This psychological horror was packed with twists that had me on the edge of my seat. And just when I thought I had it figured out, BOOM, another twist! The mix of horror, romance, and comedy was great!! It added just the right amount of spice to keep things fresh and unpredictable. If you’re looking for a thriller that keeps you guessing while giving you a few laughs and a touch of romance, this is it!” - Julian Thor Bibby
“The campy futuristic film is a fun watch, but I just couldn't get away from the feeling I was watching a cheesy CW premium episode. All the actors do well, but the basic dialogue throughout made it a tad boring. The concept was cool, reminded me a lot of what would've happened after the 2014 "Ex Machina". Many of the cogs of having robots of our own has been ironed out by the government very much like smartphones have these days. There are still a lot of loopholes upon owning these robots though but you tend to just blow it off and watch it for what it is. I think this could have been made more into a fun television series than a single film since there was a lot more to explore than what the film gives us due to time constraints. By the second half, you can't help but think up of various different scenarios that they could have dove into had it been longer or a series...it really was that good of an idea. Overall, relax and watch this as it is, I saw it on a matinee Tuesday which was $7, not bad for good 2 hour entertainment. My score is easily a 4.2/5” - Diablito Lopez
“Loved the movie. Sophie thatchers performance is amazing. Not a single dull moment, the movie is full of twists and excellent sci-fi thriller, keeps you at the edge of the seat. Ending is kinda metaphoric when Iris says the man can't control her. Although there's AI and bots, the soundtracks and filming, aesthetics give it old world, laid back feel instantly easing you into the film. Must watch!” - Rupali Khutal
