Saudis batted first again and their unbeaten fifth wicket partnership of 80 runs off just 32 balls took them to 170/4 in 20 overs. Wicket-keeper Manan Ali scored 46 off 16 while captain Waji Ul Hassan smashed 25-ball 41.

Despite opener Akshaykumar Yadav's valiant 74, Singapore were stopped at 131/9. Captain Hasan starred with the ball as well as he took five wickets for just nine runs.
