France on Wednesday supported India라이브 바카라 bid for a permanent seat in the United Nation Security Council (UNSC), which will translate to a veto right.

In addition, France also backed the claims of countries Africa, Brazil, Germany, and Japan as other new permanent members, Firstpost reported.

French President Emmanuel Macron in September last year too advocated for the expansion of the U.N. body, which deals with international security, managing disputes, preventing aggression and suggesting methods of resolution.

“We have a Security Council that is blocked. Let라이브 바카라 make the U.N. more efficient. We have to make it more representative," Macron said at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, The Hindu reported. He said that in addition to Germany, Japan, India and Brazil, two countries should be nominated by Africa.

India has been at the forefront of bringing about change in what the body constitutes, saying that the 15-nation council founded in 1945 fails to reflect contemporary geopolitics and therefore should be opened for new members.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also said last year that, "We can’t build a future for our grandchildren with a system built for our grandparents," stressing the need for reform for better operational functionality and relevance.

At present, the UNSC has only five permanent veto-wielding members, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, and Russia.
