In an overnight reshuffle, US President Donald Trump announced that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be working as the interim NSA. This announcement comes after it was reported that Mike Waltz has been removed from the post of National Security Advisor.

As per an official post from Trump, Waltz has been nominated to serve as the next United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

“I am pleased to announce that I will be nominating Mike Waltz to be the next United States Ambassador to the United Nations. From his time in uniform on the battlefield, in Congress and, as my National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz has worked hard to put our Nation라이브 바카라 Interests first,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"In the interim, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as National Security Advisor, while continuing his strong leadership at the State Department. Together, we will continue to fight tirelessly to Make America, and the World, SAFE AGAIN," he added.

Reacting to the change in office, Waltz took to X (formerly Twitter) and stated it would be an "honour" to continue to serve the nation.

"I’m deeply honored to continue my service to President Trump and our great nation," said Waltz.

Mike Waltz's dismissal as NSA comes after the Signalgate scandal in which the former NSA "accidentally" added The Atlantic's editor, Jeffrey Goldberg, to a classified group chat.

The group chat, called "Houthi PC small group" discussed the US' war plans ahead of its strikes on Yemen, and had several other members of the Trump administration such as Vice President JD Vance, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and others.
