BSF Apprehends Pakistani Ranger from International border

The development comes in wake of tensions between India and Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack.

A Pakistani ranger has been caught by the BSF along the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan on Saturday, according to PTI. The ranger has been taken into custody by the Rajasthan Frontier Force.

On April 23, BSF Jawan Purnam Kumar Shaw was apprehended by Pakistani rangers who have refused to hand him over to the Indian forces. He was caught along the Punjab border.

The development comes amid escalating tensions between both nations due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22 that claimed the lives of 26 individuals.
