Bomb Threat at Gauhati High Court Turns Out to Be Hoax

The Gauhati High Court received bomb threats on Tuesday via email, threatening that there would be a blast in the building, according to police.

The daily proceedings of the court went on as the bomb disposal squad surveyed the premises for investigation.

"We have immediately rushed a team to the high court after getting the threat message. Our experts are checking every corner of the premises, and nothing has been found so far. We believe it is a hoax," a senior police officer told PTI.

The threat was received by the Registrar on his personal Gmail account, The Assam Tribune reported.

According to PTI, the threat was sent by an unknown organization named ‘Madras Tigers’

After intensive search, the threat turned out to be a hoax.

“It was a hoax. While an email was indeed received, its contents were found to be false. Police teams are on-site and have thoroughly searched the premises,” a senior police official told The Assam Tribune.

Today라이브 바카라 threat marks the second incident of bomb hoax in Guahati this year. Before this, hoax threat warnings were sent of explosives being planted at multiple locations across the city on January 26 - India라이브 바카라 Republic Day, according to The Assam Tribune.
