Chhattisgarh: 3 Naxalites Killed In Sukma Encounter; Deputy CM Hails Security Forces
Three naxalistes were killed after an encounter broke out between them and the security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on January 9.
Confirming the death of the Naxalites, state Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said the security forces have achieved success in the anti-Naxal operation in Sukma.
So far, bodies of three Naxalites have been recovered and the search operation is still underway, Sharma, who holds the Home portfolio, told reporters in Raipur. Read Full Story Here
Canadian Court Grants Bail To 4 Indians Accused In Nijjar Killing Case
A Canadian court has granted bail to all four Indian nationals accused in the killing of Khalistani extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
The Nijjar killing case has now been transferred to the British Columbia Supreme Court and is scheduled to begin on February 11, 2025.
The four accused - Karan Brar, Amandeep Singh, Kamalpreet Singh, and Karanpreet Singh - were charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Read Full Story Here
