The MSME and Startup Accelerators (MASA), in association with the Confederation of West Bengal Traders Association, proudly hosted the Global Education Conclave - Look East for Education Excellence at the National Library, Kolkata. This groundbreaking initiative set the stage to position Eastern India as a hub of educational innovation and global learning.
Shri Sushil Poddar, President of MASA, in his address underscored the importance of uniting various stakeholders in transforming the education landscape of eastern India. Eminent global academecian Dr. Partha S. Ghosh, Chairman of The Boston Pledge and Professor at Tufts University shared his views and thoughts on preparing students for the global market.
Dr. Ananda Mitra, Dr. Swati Basu of Wake Forest University-USA and Dr. Mohua Datta, Co-Founder of DevilYou Chocolates deliberated on the need to make our Students ready for the Global Market. Sakyasingha Mahapatra of Sakrobotics - Bhubaneswar, Debashis Ghosh of IDEAS ISI, Pragya Jhunjhunwala of MASA and Prof. Santanu Ray of Sister Nivedita University deliberated on the prospects of the East to be the Centre of Academic Excellence. A riveting conversation on "Bengal – The Centre for Science Learning" was held between Prof. Anupam Basu, Raja Ramanna Chair, Jadavpur University, and Mr. Kaushik Bhattacharya, CEO of Ranjhiya Digital, exploring Bengal라이브 바카라 rich legacy in scientific learning and its future prospects.
The Conclave concluded with the prestigious ‘Educational Changemakers of the East Awards’, honoring institutions for their exceptional contributions to education. Awardees included pioneers from sectors such as management studies, inclusive education, startup innovation, and technical education. Awardees were University of Engineering and Management, Unmish, SakRobotics, Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College, Banchbo Sociocultural Association, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, B D Memorial International and George Group of Colleges.
