Australian Open: Sumit Nagal Ousted In Opening Round By Tomas Machac - In Pics

Sumit Nagal's Australian Open campaign ended on the very first day after a straight sets loss to Czechia's Tomas Machac. Nagal, India's highest ranked singles player at 91st place, could not match 26th seed Machac's intensity and skill even as the Indian tried hard to bounce back. He lost the first set 6-3 then was drubbed 6-1 in the second. Nagal tried to mount a comeback in the final set before losing 7-5.
