Chasing a target of 163 runs, Andhra openers Srikar Bharat and Ashwin Hebbar remained unbeaten and helped their team register a comprehensive win. Bharat made 86 and Hebbar made 66 in the lop-sided contest. Medium pacer Pinninti Tapaswi was named the Player of the Match for his four-wicket haul (4/28).
The Srikar Bharat-led Andhra entered the match as the second-placed team with eight points from three games. They now have 12 points from four matches, and are still second in Group B.
They thumped the Railways by 91 runs, and registered an eight-wicket win against Sikkim on either side of a nine-wicket defeat against Rajasthan.
