Earlier on in the day, Indonesia won the toss and opted to bat first, looking to end the series on a high, after conceding it 3-1 in the fourth match.
The openers Gede Priyandana and Gaurav Tiwari got them off to a very good start, stitching a 53-run partnership in 7.5 overs.
However, Asif Shaikh drew first blood for Bahrain sending Priyandana back to the hut.
Febrianto Heo joined hands with Tiwari to take the scorecard and the momentum forward.
Abdul Majid Abbasi injected pain into the Indonesian line-up after picking back-to-back wickets, reducing them to 80 for the loss of three.
Chasing a decent 121-run target, Prashant Kurup and Fiaz Ahmed started on a decent note, but the innings was accelerated by Sohail Ahmed (37) and Junaid Aziz (22) driving them to the target, comfortably with five wickets in hand and an over to spare.
