The domestic T20 league of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), International League T20 2025 is ready to kickstart on Saturday, 11 January 2025 with the match between MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals. (More Cricket News)

A total of 34 matches will be played in this edition of the ILT20 2025 with the final set to be played on 9 February in Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Six teams are set to take part in this edition namely, Gulf Giants, Dubai Capitals, MI Emirates, Desert Vipers, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Sharjah Warriorz. MI Emirates are the defending champions who defeated Dubai Capitals by 45 runs in last year's final.

The format of the league is quite similar of that of the IPL. All six teams will play each other in the league stage and the top-four teams in the points table will qualify for the playoffs.

The top two teams will play Qualifier 1 and the winner will directly enter the final. The third-placed and fourth-placed teams will face each other in the Eliminator and the winner will enter Qualifier 2, where they will face the loser of Qualifier 1.

The loser of the Eliminator will be exited from the tournament. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final and face the winner of Qualifier 1 for the trophy.
