Farhan struck a whirlwind 52-ball 106 to propel Islamabad to a formidable 243-run total, and their bowlers then dismissed Peshawar for 141 runs in 18.2 overs. With the thumping victory, Islamabad moved to the top of the PSL table with four points from two games. On the other hand, Zalmi stayed at the bottom with their second straight loss of the season.
After Farhan's heroics, Ben Dwarshuis smacked an unbeaten 18 off just six balls and Jason Holder stayed not out on 20 off 11 to provide the finishing touches to the United innings.
It was an all-round bowling effort from Shadab Khan's side from then on. Imad Wasim claimed three wickets, and Shadab himself picked two as no Zalmi batter apart from Mohammad Haris (87 off 47) could get going.
