Quetta Gladiators’ off-spinner Usman Tariq of Pakistan has been reported for a suspect bowling action, for the second time in a year. Tariq was reported by on-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Chris Brown after Quetta lost to Lahore Qalandars by 79 runs at Rawalpindi on Sunday.

“As per the rules, Usman can continue to bowl in future (PSL) matches,” the Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement. “However, if he is reported again, he will be suspended from bowling and will need to obtain clearance from an ICC-accredited lab before he can resume bowling.”

Last year, Tariq was also reported for a suspect bowling action during Quetta라이브 바카라 match against Karachi Kings at the same venue before the franchise voluntarily pulled out the off-spinner from the tournament to undergo the bowling test.

Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan has won the toss and elected to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi.

Fiery West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph has the ball in hand for Peshawar Zalmi. Andries Gous and Sahibzada Farhan have walked out to open the innings for Islamabad United. The 28-year-old Joseph is on the money with the first ball and beats Farhan all ends up with a beauty outside off for the second.

A fantastic effort in the field from Tom Kohler-Cadmore helps Zalmi get rid of Andries Gous. Kohler-Cadmore innovatively gets the bails down at the striker's end to catch Gous short. But Farhan continues unfazed at the other end, and has raced away to 47 not out off just 21 balls to propel the Islamabad run rate in the powerplay.

Sahibzada Farhan is going all guns blazing. He races past the 50-run mark and shows no signs of stopping, bringing up a 100-run partnership with Colin Munro in just 53 balls. Munro has only contributed 24 off those runs, for context. If they go on like this, we might be looking at a 220-plus total for Islamabad.

A spectacular knock from Sahibzada Farhan comes to an end, but not before the Islamabad opener scores a marvellous hundred, out for 106 off just 52 balls. Alzarri Joseph dismisses Farhan and Colin Munro in the same over to arrest the onslaught for a while. A 200-plus total appears to be a foregone conclusion from here; the question is, how many more can Islamabad get in the last five overs?

It's a blockbuster finish to the Islamabad United innings. They end with a towering 243 runs on the board, as Ben Dwarshuis smacks an unbeaten 18 off just six balls and Jason Holder stays not out on 20 off 11. Peshawar Zalmi will have their task cut out in the chase, and though the pitch appears to be good for batting, scoring at over 12 an over through the course of the innings is not going to be easy.

Babar Azam and Saim Ayub are at the crease to commence Peshawar Zalmi's improbable pursuit of a 244-run target. Naseem Shah delivers a tidy first over, conceding just four runs off it. And Ben Dwarshuis sends back Babar off his first ball soon after to rattle Zalmi early. Islamabad in command.

The chase has gotten off to the worst possible start for Peshawar Zalmi. Mitchell Owen follows Babar Azam in the dugout as Imad Wasim traps him in front, and Naseem Shah then has Saim Ayub caught at deep backward square leg. With the top three gone cheaply and inside the powerplay, only a miraculous effort from two or more batters can rescue Zalmi from here, one reckons.

Even as the wickets have tumbled from the other end, Mohammad Haris has gone on resolutely to get to his half-century off 28 balls. He has helped Zalmi get to the 100-run mark in 12 overs. But the asking rate has meanwhile ballooned to 18 runs per over.

The Peshawar Zalmi lower order has collapsed, and Islamabad have completed a thumping 102-run victory in Rawalpindi. It has been an all-round bowling effort from Shadab Khan's side. Imad Wasim has claimed three wickets, and Shadab himself two as no Zalmi batter apart from Mohammad Haris (87 off 47) could get going.

With the massive victory, Islamabad United go top of the Pakistan Super League table with four points from two games. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi stay at the bottom with their second straight loss of the season.
