Trent Boult delivered a length ball attacking the stumps to Quinton de Kock. De Kock shuffled across and attempted a lap scoop over the wicketkeeper, but failed to connect. The ball struck him on the back pad in front of the stumps, prompting a huge appeal from the fielding side.

The umpire raised his finger, and de Kock immediately opted for the review. Ultra Edge confirmed there was no bat involved, and Ball Tracking showed the ball would have hit the middle-off stump. With that, DSG lost both their openers in consecutive overs.

Rashid Khan got the breakthrough with his first ball, cleaning up Breetzke! It was a challenging stay for the number 3, who had just 6 runs off 15 balls. Rashid floated the ball outside off, and Breetzke went for a drive, but he got a thick inside edge that hit the leg-stump.

Then Rashid Khan struck twice in his first over, leaving DSG at 24/4 after 7 overs.Kane Williamson fought back, scoring 14 runs off three boundaries in the 11th over, and he and Klaasen put together a vital 121-run stand off 79 balls. Klaasen unleashed three straight sixes off Rashid to bring up his fifty, while Williamson followed suit with his own half-century.

Despite this, only two of the batters could reach double figures and prove struggling. In bowling, Boult and Linde were fairly solid though taking just a wicket each. Rashid Khan was expensive, taking two wickets.

Welcome back for the chase! Maharaj has the ball in hand, coming around the wicket to Rickelton, with a slip in place. The action is about to heat up. Rickelton and van der Dussen are at the crease, with Rickelton on strike.

Maharaj bowls to van der Dussen, and he smashes it for SIX! The ball is in his hitting arc, and van der Dussen bludgeons it into the crowd! A perfect start to the chase.

Just when DSG was celebrating Rassie van der Dussen's wicket, Ryan Rickelton brought up his fifty! A length ball, he hangs back, works it straight past the bowler to long-on, and rotates the strike. Now, with a half-century to his name, he's as dangerous as ever for the DSG bowling attack!

Stoinis bowls to Sediqullah Atal, who cuts it off the outside half of the bat, trying to go over extra cover. The ball falls down the sweeper cover's throat, who fires a flat throw to the keeper. Atal could have been in trouble if de Kock had gathered it cleanly.

Noor Ahmad tosses it up, and Brevis launches it high and long over the long-off boundary for a massive six. Next ball, slightly short to Linde, who mistimes the pull off the splice. It balloons up, but Klaasen spills an absolute sitter—what a chance gone begging.

What a finish to the game. Seals it with a monster six, four sixes in the over and secures the win along with the bonus point! MI Cape Town tears through the Durban Super Giants' bowling attack in a dominant display.
