Bowling first, MICT easily restricted DSG to 149/6 due to initial wickets by Rashid Khan and sharp fielding.
DSG collapsed early to 24/4, but Kane Williamson scored 56 off 44 balls and Heinrich Klaasen scored 66 off 43 to stage an 121-run comeback. Both did what was required to drag the side back from a tight spot and restore a semblance of stability.
MICT was explosive in the chase, with Ryan Rickelton anchoring the innings with an excellent 63 off 41 balls; the match was finished in the style by George Linde, who played quite a show with 29 not out off just 8 balls, including four big sixes, ensuring a resounding win.
Dewald Brevis scored a swift 26; Maharaj was the pick of the DSG bowlers with his economical work of (1/23). The clinical performance of MICT at 154 for 3 puts it prettily on the second place on the points table.
