This is not the first time that Modi has taken time from his official trips to meet cricket teams. During his visit to Guyana last year, he posed with West Indies cricket legends Clive Lloyd, Alvin Kallicharran, and Devendra Bishoo.

The Indian Prime Minister is currently on a state trip to Sri Lanka at the behest of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, marking the first international leader to visit the country following last year라이브 바카라 elections.

How Sri Lanka Won 1996 World Cup

The 1996 World Cup victory is a sporting landmark for the small island nation. The team faced favourites Australia in Lahore on 17 March, with Mark Taylor라이브 바카라 74-run knock leading to a total of 241 in the first innings.

Chasing, Arjuna Ranatunga라이브 바카라 men lost both openers quickly, but a century from Aravinda de Silva and a 65-run knock from Asanka Gurusinha led to a comfortable chase with 22 balls remaining, handing Sri Lanka their only 50-over World Cup title till date.

De Silva라이브 바카라 performance in the final match immortalised him, as the all-rounder scored 107 runs and took three wickets, as well as taking two catches to single-handedly decimate the Australian side.
