Mumbai City FC, FC Goa, and Odisha FC, East Bengal FC have already begun their business, with other clubs expected to follow suit soon.

East Bengal has signed Venezuelan national team forward Richard Enrique Celis Sanchez for the remainder of the Indian Super League (ISL) season.

Celis, who joins from Academia Puerto Cabello, is a versatile attacker capable of playing as a left winger or centre-forward. He has had a successful career with top clubs in Venezuela, including Caracas FC and Millonarios FC in Colombia, and has also played in Slovakia.

At 28 years old, Celis has significant experience, having scored in over 250 matches and playing for the Venezuelan national team in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and Copa America.

“I am thrilled to join East Bengal and can't wait to embrace the challenges ahead,” Celis said.

East Bengal's head coach, Oscar Bruzon, added that they expect Celis's talent and commitment to embody the club's values as they aim for success. Currently, East Bengal is 11th in the 13-team ISL standings, with eight losses and two draws in 14 matches.

1. The centre-forward, Aaren D'Silva has joined FC Goa from Hyderabad FC. He joins the Gaurs on a short-term deal until the end of the ongoing season.

2. Prabir Das is the second player to leave Kerala Blasters this season after Rahul KP. He joined Mumbai City FC on loan.

3. Dorielton Nascimento has joined Odisha FC after his impressive stint at the Forca Kochi FC in the Super League Kerala.

4. Rahul KP has joined Odisha FC on loan for the rest of the season from Kerala Blasters FC.

5. Pritam Kotal has joined Chennaiyin FC from Kerala Blasters FC.

6. Richard Celis has joined East Bengal FC from Academia Puerto Cabello.

7. Manvir Singh has joined Mohammedan SC from Jamshedpur FC.

8. Bikash Yumnam has joined Kerala Blasters FC from Chennaiyin FC.

9. Dusan Lagator has joined Kerala Blasters FC from Debrecen.

10. Jorge Ortiz has joined Mumbai City FC from Shenzhen Peng City FC.

11. Petros Giakoumakis has joined Punjab FC from Makedonikos Neapolis.

12. Gursimrat Singh Gill has joined Delhi FC on loan from East Bengal.

13. Kamaljit Singh has joined Kerala Blasters on loan from Odisha FC.

14. Marc Schmerbock has joined Mohammedan Sporting from SD Logrones.

15. Hardik Bhatt has joined I-League club Sreenidi Deccan FC on loan for the rest of the season from Mumbai City FC.
