While the top eight sides automatically qualify for the Round of 16, the teams finishing in ninth to 24th spot, will lock horns in the knockout stages. They will take on each other in a two-legged phase to secure a spot in the last 16.
The highlight tie of the knockout play-offs is Real Madrid taking on Manchester City. The holders taking on former champions, promises to be a mouth-watering affair in the UCL knockout phase play-offs.
In other knockout phase play-off ties, Celtic face a formidable tie against Bayern Munich whereas Ligue 1 rivals, Brest take on PSG.
The other ties are - Club Brugge vs Atalanta, Juventus vs PSV, Sporting CP vs Borussia Dortmund, Monaco vs Benfica and Feyenoord vs AC Milan.
