BVB won the 1st leg 4-1 thanks to Robert Lewandowski hat-trick as Real won the return leg 2-0 with the German side progressing on aggregate score.

So, the omens are good for Arsenal as they travel to the Santiago Bernabeu to face Real Madrid, hoping to reach their first Champions League semi-final since 2009.

We got what we were expecting! Drama, action and absolutely enthralling atmosphere at the Bernabeu. Arsenal were awarded a penalty early on in the game only to be saved by Thibaut Courtois as RMA kept the score to 0-0. However, things changed when referee awarded the penalty in Real's favour only to be dispelled upon lengthy VAR check.

The Magpies are rampant in the Premier League as they go 5-0 up against the Eagles. Some performance this!

Second-half is underway and Arsenal and Real Madrid resume their rivalry with the semi-final spot at stake.

Fifteen minutes in the second half and the Gunners are 0-0 and if it remains this way, the visitors will go through to the final four.

Nervous faces at the Bernabeu as fans of Real Madrid wear a worrisome face with Arsenal still in the lead. The hosts require three-plus goals to win this tie but Gunners doing their best to thwart it away.

Arsenal fans, staff, and management are in delirium and who can stop them tonight from celebrating! The Gunners keep their Bernabeu record intact with a 2-1 victory as they book PSG semi-final tie. Only blot on the night for them will the yellow card for Thomas Partey who will miss the first-leg.

First semi-final berth since 2009 for the Gunners, when they had knocked yet another Spanish opposition in Villareal to get to the final four. Can they go one step further this time around? Time will tell.
