Asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals opener Faf du Plessis struggled to make runs, but the other opener, Abishek Porel, made a quick 28 off just 11 balls.

Du Plessis made 22 runs off 26 balls, including two fours. KL Rahul also played with a low strike rate and made 41 off 39 balls.
Tristan Stubbs (34) and Vipraj Nigam (12) played quick cameos, which helped DC set a target of 163 runs for RCB. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took three wickets, whereas Josh Hazlewood picked up a couple of wickets for RCB.
Chasing a trick target of 163 runs, Virat Kohli came out to bat with IPL debutant Jacob Bethell. Axar Patel opened the bowling attack for DC.
Bethell hit a couple of boundaries to Mitchell Starc and was looking fine, but Patel dismissed him in the next over. He also got rid of Devdutt Padikkal in the same over.
In the next over, Karun Nair's direct throw found Rajat Patidar out of the crease, and RCB were reeling at 26/3 when Krunal Pandya entered the ground.
He struggled to connect earlier, but found rhythm after a few overs. He added 117 runs for the fourth wicket with Kohli, the biggest RCB partnership for any wicket this season.
Kohli lost his wicket to Dushmantha Chameera in the 18th over after completing his half-century. He made 51 runs off 47 balls. Pandya also played 47 balls but made 73 not out, including five fours and four sixes.
Tim David finished the match in RCB's favour with a quickfire five-ball 19 runs. Pandya was named Player of the Match for his unbeaten knock.
After this win, RCB are at the top of the points table and DC are in fourth place.
Delhi Capitals will host Kolkata Knight Riders next on Tuesday at the same venue, whereas RCB will face CSK in Chennai on Saturday, 3rd May.
