They held a three-shot lead after three rounds of the event and got over the line in Sunday's바카라 웹사이트tense finale, having seen Jake Knapp and Frankie Capan III draw level at the top of the leaderboard before a two-shot swing on the penultimate hole.

While Novak suffered an agonising play-off defeat to Justin Thomas as last week's RBC Heritage, Griffin had previously managed two runner-up finishes on the tour.

"I think for both Andrew and I, it felt like it was only a matter of time out here. We both put ourselves in the mix a bunch, especially this season, but even going back to last season," Griffin said.바카라 웹사이트

"Just a lot of hard work between both of us, and for me personally, it means the world to finally get it paid off or to finally get it done.

"I couldn't think of a better guy to get it done with, right here with Andrew."

Novak added: "There have been times down the stretch where I've had chances and haven't played particularly well, so, I took some positives into this week.

"You never really know when you're going to get your first one, but we put ourselves in position again."

McIlroy and Lowry entered the event as defending champions and began the fifth and final round – under the alternate-shot format – five shots off the lead, but three bogeys after a 90-minute weather delay put an end to their hopes.

Lowry still enjoyed the experience of teaming up with the Masters champion, saying: "It was nice to come and try and defend. I think we did a good job, for the most part.바카라 웹사이트

"I think we played alright, just today nothing really happened for us, and then after the delay we just went – everything that could go wrong did go wrong.바카라 웹사이트

"I had a great week. I'm happy my man came here this week, and we had a great time, and it was fun."

McIlroy added: "It's always good to team up with this man. We've had fun."
