The trailer of Subham, Samantha's maiden production was unveiled on April 27. The film will hits theatres on May 9. The horror-comedy, is produced under Samantha's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, and directed by Praveen Kandregula.

Subham promises to have a fresh storyline, with a blend of comedy and horror. Samantha has a hilarious cameo in it. The trailer shows a group of friends discussing how they try to control their wives. One suggests to use a polite way, while others have different opinions.

The twist comes when the wives, after watching their favourite TV serials, become possessed by a ghost and control their husbands' lives. Samantha makes a cameo appearance as a 'maata' who steps in to solve their issue.

In a statement, Samantha said, "This project embodies Tralala's vision of unique, thought-provoking cinema that leaves you wanting more and hopefully over time will help audiences identify and highlight content coming out of our Tralala banner. I'm really excited about Shubam and I can't wait for audiences to see all our hard work take shape."

Subham has an ensemble cast, including Harshith Reddy, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud, among others.

Coming back to Samantha, on the work front, she was last seen in Amazon Prime Video's Citadel: Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan. The actress will be next seen in Netflix original, Rakt Bramhand. The show will also feature Aditya Roy Kapur in a key role.
