Actress Alia Bhatt will turn a year older on March 15. Ahead of her 32nd birthday, she had a pre-birthday bash with the press. Her husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor was also present at the meet. During the press meet, Alia revealed that she will make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Alia said, “This is going to be my first year when I'm going to Cannes. So I'm very nervous and very excited, and added, ''I'm also now trying my hand at new makeup looks and videos. I put up a makeup tutorial of my own at the beginning of the year. Now my, you know, my team is like, Why don't we try something that you've never done before, like blue eyeshadow or pink eyeshadow or something like that?”
Alia Bhatt has been an ambassador for beauty brand L'Oréal Paris, since 2024, and she will walk the red carpet representing the brand.
The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress had already turned heads with her international red carpet looks, by making stunning appearance at the Met Gala 2023 in a floral Sabyasachi saree. Last year, she walked the ramp of the Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris at Paris Fashion Week, and looked jaw-dropping in a silver breastplate paired with black sharara trousers.
She walked the ramp with models and stars like Kendall Jenner, Luma Grothe, Andie MacDowell, and Liya Kebede.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to take place from May 13 to May 24.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Yash Raj Films' Alpha, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. She also has Brahmastra Part 2 in the pipeline.
