Chhorii 2 OTT Release Date: Nushrratt Bharuccha Starrer To Stream On Prime Video On THIS Date; Watch Teaser

Vishal Furia, who helmed Chhorii, has returned to direct the sequel, with Nushrratt Bharuccha reprising her role as Sakshi. Soha Ali Khan has joined the project where she is playing a pivotal role. Gashmeer Mahajani, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, Saurabh Goyal, and Hardika Sharma, among others are also part of the cast.

Chhorii 2 is produced by T-Series, Abundantia Entertainment, Psych, and Tamarisk Lane Production. It is all set to arrive on Prime Video on April 11, 2025.

As per Variety, Manish Menghani, Director of Content Licensing, Prime Video India shared, “With Chhorii, we introduced audiences to a story that was deeply intriguing yet emotionally powerful. The film struck a perfect chord with cinephiles of the horror genre, blending fear with folklore in a way that felt fresh and authentic''.

He added, “With Chhorii 2, we are taking that creative vision further, crafting a sequel of the well-acclaimed franchise that is darker, more intense, and replete with more twists and turns.''

Vikram Malhotra, founder and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment added, “The overwhelming love and appreciation for the first film encouraged us to expand this universe with Chhorii 2, where the horror intensifies, and the battle for survival becomes even more personal and dangerous''.

Chhorii revolved around the societal evils like female infanticide and foeticide. Bharuccha played a pregnant woman who is trapped in a desolate house of an isolated village. Soon, she discovers that the place is filled with gore and ghosts and she must save herself and her unborn child from the societal evils and mysterious forces.

Apart from Nushrratt, the film also starred Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, Saurabh Goyal, Yaaneea Bharadwaj and Gracy Goswami among others.

Like Chhorii, the sequel also promises to give thrills and surprises as it is filled with more suspense and supernatural horror.
