Popular Tamil series Suzhal: The Vortex is back with Season 2. Aishwarya Rajesh and Kathir are reprising their roles of Nandini and Sakkarai from the first season. Created by the director duo Pushkar and Gayatri, the web series will start streaming on Prime Video on February 28. It will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles.
The second series of Suzhal will start off from where season 1 left off. In season 1, the colourful Ashtakaali festival served as the perfect backdrop for the story. An unexpected murder shook the entire village of Kaalipattanam. Nandini and Sakkarai start to find out the truth behind the mysterious murder.
The official logline of Suzhal 2 reads, “The second season picks up from the momentous climax of season one, with Nandini (Aishwarya) staring at an uncertain future in prison, while Sakkarai (Kathir) reaches a mystifying village with a sinister history. But an unexpected murder casts a dark shadow on the village and its natives, spreading far and wide.”
The gripping series also stars Saravanan, Monisha Blessy, Rini, Lal, Gouri Kishan, Samyuktha Vishwarnathan, Nikhila Shankar, and Ashwini Nambiar. Manjima Mohan and Chandran will have cameos.
