China라이브 바카라 Ministry of Commerce on April 13 urged the United States to fully eliminate reciprocal tariffs introduced under former President Donald Trump, following a recent US decision to exempt certain electronics from the levies.
“We urge the US to take meaningful steps to correct its mistakes, completely cancel the wrong practice of reciprocal tariffs, and return to the correct path of mutual respect,” a ministry spokesperson said, as reported by AFP.
The call came after the US administration announced exclusions from tariffs on smartphones, laptops, and other electronics over the weekend — a partial reprieve in a broader trade dispute that has seen duties imposed on hundreds of billions of dollars worth of goods.

Beijing said it is still assessing the impact of the exemptions, noting that the majority of Chinese exports to the US remain subject to tariffs as high as 145 percent. China was also excluded from a 90-day tariff moratorium granted to other countries.
Escalating Trade Tensions
On Friday, China responded to the US measures by raising its own tariffs on American imports, increasing the average rate from 84 percent to 125 percent. The move followed Washington라이브 바카라 decision to hike duties on Chinese products to an overall rate of 145 percent.
In a strongly worded statement, China라이브 바카라 commerce ministry reaffirmed its resolve in the face of ongoing trade tensions, warning that it would not back down.
