Greenland라이브 바카라 Prime Minister Mute Egede criticized US President Donald Trump on Monday for failing to show respect to Greenlanders, particularly since his renewed push to incorporate the mineral-rich Arctic island into the United States. Egede emphasized that Greenlanders deserve respect, something he believes Trump has not provided since taking office.

“We deserve to be treated with respect, and I don’t think the U.S. president has done that recently,” Egede said to Reuters. “The recent actions of the American president have caused people to distance themselves from the U.S. more than they might have in the past.”

He added, “We need to draw a line and focus on building relations with countries that respect us and support our future goals.”

Trump라이브 바카라 Bid On Greenland

After Trump assumed office as the President, his son Donald Trump Jr made a visit to the island. Trump has also threatened Denmark of "very high tariffs" if they did not facilitate the transfer of the island, echoing his recent actions against to Canada, Mexico and India.

PM Egede has repeatedly affirmed that Greenland, with a population of just 57,000, belongs to its people and should have the freedom to decide its own future.

Greenland, an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, has drawn attention due to its vast mineral, oil, and gas resources. Since Trump라이브 바카라 presidency, he has made repeated promises of prosperity for Greenland. On Monday, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “We will continue to keep you safe, as we have since World War II, and we’re ready to invest billions to create new jobs and make you rich.”

Earlier this month, Trump reiterated his desire for Greenland, stating, “We strongly support your right to determine your own future, and if you choose, we welcome you into the United States of America… One way or the other, we’re going to get it.”
