In Photos: Political Turmoil In Georgia Over Govt's Move On Joining EU

Mass opposition protests sparked in Georgia following the government's decision to put the EU accession talks on hold. The protestors reportedly threw fireworks at police officers and built barricades on the Georgian capital's central boulevard. In a bid to disperse the agitators, police used water cannons and tear gas and detained over 300 protesters.
