Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an Easter Truce for Ukraine on Saturday. However, as per Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the attacks on Kyiv have continued despite Putin's promise of a truce for Easter Sunday.

Taking to social media platform X, Zelenskyy stated that not only did Russia not respond to the 30-day proposal for a ceasefire by the US, it has maintained radio silence.

"If Russia is now suddenly ready to truly engage in a format of full and unconditional silence, Ukraine will act accordingly — mirroring Russia라이브 바카라 actions. Silence in response to silence, defensive strikes in response to attacks," he said, adding that the Easter truce has also been reduced to mere words.

"Russian assault operations continue on several frontline sectors, and Russian artillery fire has not subsided. Therefore, there is no trust in words coming from Moscow. We know all too well how Moscow manipulates, and we are prepared for anything. Ukraine라이브 바카라 Defense Forces will act rationally — responding in kind. Every Russian strike will be met with an appropriate response," said Zelenskyy.

In another tweet, the Ukrainian president stated that hostilities in the Kursk and Belgorod regions have continued.

"Russian artillery can still be heard in certain directions of the front, regardless of the Russian leader's promise of silence. Russian drones are in use. In some areas, the situation has become quieter," he said.

The Easter Truce marks the Ukraine War's first official truce in three years. Earlier this year, the US brokered a 30-day ceasefire proposal with Russia, which was later reduced to a "partial ceasefire" with no attacks on energy and civilian infrastructure.

However, Russia ignored this and continued its attacks, prompting Ukraine to respond against Moscow.
