Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Goyal asserted that the conviction of the people would ensure the resumption of tourism in Kashmir soon, and pilgrims will continue their Amarnath Yatra.

"These incidents represent the desperate last efforts of those powers. It is an unbearable attack, but we will not spare anyone," the Union Commerce Minister added.

The security forces are going after the known terrorist associates and their sympathisers across the length and breadth of the Valley, with an aim to create a deterrent against any Pahalgam-like attacks, the officials said.

Houses of five terrorists or their associates have been demolished in the past 48 hours with officials saying similar action will be taken against others involved in terror activities.

One alleged OWG was killed in firing by terrorists during one such operation in Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.

Mobile vehicle check-points have been put up across the district to monitor any suspicious movement, the officials said.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is "fooling people" with regard to the Pahalgam terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir.

The chief minister also said the prime minister did not attend the all-party meeting conveyed by the Centre, post the attack, but took part in an election rally in Bihar.

"The prime minister should have been there during the all-party meeting. He had gone to electioneering in Bihar. So what is important to him? He is putting ‘Topi’ (hat) on people (meaning fooling people)," Siddaramaiah told reporters here.

He was responding to a query of India라이브 바카라 response to the terror attack.

The chief minister said, "There is no need for war. We are not in favour of it. We should take stringent measures. That라이브 바카라 it. Security should be beefed up." There should be peace in the country. People should be protected and the Centre should initiate security measures, he added.

To a question about the union government's directives to states to send back Pakistani nationals, the CM said, "We will cooperate. We will send back the Pakistani nationals and inform the Centre about it. Right now, we do not have information about the number of Pakistanis residing in Karnataka." According to the CM, Pakistani nationals are in the major cities of the state, but most of them are in Bengaluru.

Siddaramaiah reiterated that the Pahalgam terror strike was the outcome of security lapse.

After meeting Ganbote, Fadnavis then headed to Jagdale's residence in Karvenagar. The CM spoke to Jagdale's daughter Asavari and wife Pratibha.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the three persons from the state killed in the Pahalgam terror attack and to the next of kin of the Army havilder killed in Udhampur encounter.

She added that the state government would also offer a job to the wife of Havildar Jhantu Ali Shaikh from Tehatta in Nadia district.

Banerjee said the state government would provide Rs 10,000 pension to the father of Bitan Adhikari, one of the Pahalgam victims.

"A monthly pension of Rs 10,000 will be provided to Adhikari's father. The Rs 10 lakh compensation for the family will be divided equally, with Rs 5 lakh going to his wife and Rs 5 lakh to his parents," she said.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday that three more persons were apprehended for their alleged pro-Pakistan stand in the wake of the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total number of such arrests in the northeastern state to 11.

The External Affairs and Home ministries have issued instructions that Pakistani nationals leave India by April 27, the official told PTI.

After terrorists gunned down his father in Pahalgam, Harshal Lele knew one thing that he had to do: Save his mother and bring her to safety, just what his father would have done.

A vacation to Jammu and Kashmir turned tragic for the Leles and their two extended families. Harshal's father, Sanjay Lele (52), Hemant Joshi (45) and Atul Mone (43), who were cousins, died in the April 22 attack.

"We just finished lunch when we heard the gunshots," Harshal recalled.

"It was my responsibility to save my mother. I put myself in my father's shoes. His first thought would have been to rescue Mom, so I did just that," he said.

"My mother suffers from mild paralysis, so she had difficulty walking. My cousin Dhruv Joshi and I lifted her halfway while navigating the rough and uneven terrain. She slipped in places and was hurt, but we had no choice," Harshal recalled.

"When we reached the base and saw Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel going up to the meadow, we hoped against hope that my father and uncles would be brought out alive. But that did not happen," he said.
