Weeks after the 'Hands Off' protests in the United States, a fresh wave of anti-Trump protests was carried out across the 50 states. Thousands of people rallied against the Trump administration and its policies as part of the 50501 movement.

Thousands of Americans took over the streets of New York, Washington, San Francisco, Boston, Galveston City and more with slogans - "No Kings in America" and "Resist Tyranny."

Tackling Trump's policies on the Gaza war, deportations, federal firing, anti-LGBTQ laws and more, people also rallied outside the White House.

Speaking to reporters, a protester outside the White House accused the Trump administration of carrying out "a direct assault on the idea of the rule of law and the idea that the government should be restrained from abusing the people who live here in the United States."

Protestors carried out a series of demonstrations which covered topics ranging from the mass deportation to the US' support for Israel in the Gaza War.

Many protestors were dressed in keffiyehs as they called for a free Palestine and the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian student protester arrested last month.

Demonstrators from Republican states such as Texas also stepped out to speak against this administration's policies. As per AFP, major protests were carried out in Galveston City.

This was the second time major protests were carried out against the second Trump administration. The first round of protests were held on April 5 across all 50 states as part of the Hands Off movement.

This second round of protests were organised under the 50501 movement - which stands for - 50 protests, 50 states and one movement. The group was formed to protest and question the policies of the second Trump administration.
