Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke about the success of the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj while addressing the Lok Sabha.
After PM Modi's address in the Lok Sabha, opposition MPs created an uproar and chanted slogans of 'Tanashahi Band Karo', while the lower house adjourned proceedings as chaos erupted.

PM expressed his gratitude to crores of Indians who contributed to the success of this event.
"India's new generation connected with Mahakumbh, it is embracing traditions and faith with pride. Entire world witnessed grandeur of India during Mahakumbh. Unity in diversity is speciality of India, we experienced it in Prayagraj and should continue to enrich this," PM said in Lok Sabha as quoted by PTI.

Many opposition members rose from their seats in protest after the prime minister spoke.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla repeatedly urged the protesting members to return to their seats. When they refused to comply, he adjourned the House till 1 pm.
Sonia Gandhi Demands Rs 400 Minimum Wage, Under MGNREGA
Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday accused the BJP-led Centre of systematically undermining of the rural employment guarantee scheme MGNREGA, and demanded raising of minimum wage under it to Rs 400 per day and the number of guaranteed workdays to 150 a year.
"This landmark legislation has been a crucial safety net for millions of rural poor. However, it is deeply concerning that the present BJP government has systematically undermined the scheme," Sonia Gandhi said in Rajya Sabha, PTI reported.
