Security was spruced up in Madhya Pradesh라이브 바카라 Guna after incidents of stone pelting occurred during the Hanuman Jayanti procession on Saturday. The incident took place while the procession was crossing Colonelganj Mosque around 7:30PM, after which authorities swiftly took action.
The stone pelting was preceded by verbal altercations between members of the two communities and the situation was subsequently placated amid the presence of police and revenue staff, according to officials.
“Miscreants have been identified on the basis of video footage. The situation is normal. We appeal to the people not to pay attention to rumours,” Superintendent police Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said, adding that several persons were injured. However, the administration took immediate action and the situation was brought under control within 15-20 minutes, ANI reported.
"The procession was passing near Colonelganj Mosque during which slogans were raised among the two communities,” he added.
Guna District Magistrate Kishore Kumar Kanyal too spoke about the incident, saying that appropriate measures were taken and the circumstances are now stable.
We got to know that 2-3 people have been injured. We are monitoring from the control room. Do not pay attention to any kind of rumours. The police have registered an FIR against 4 people," Time of India quoted Kanyal saying.
