Delimitation Row: Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Writes To 7 States As Row With Centre Escalates


As the delimitation row continues, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has reached out to his counterparts in the south as well as in states such as West Bengal, Odisha and Punjab.

In his letter, the DMK leader has called for the creation of a Joint Action Committee to plan the delimitation exercise.

As per reports, Stalin reached out to the states of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, West Bengal, Odisha and Punjab for their formal consent and for the states to nominate a "senior representative" for the JAC.

MUDA Scam Case: Karnataka HC Quashes ED Summons Against CM Siddaramaiah's Wife

High Court of Karnataka quashes Enforcement Directorate summons issued to CM Siddaramaiah's wife Parvathi & State Minister BS Suresha in MUDA case, reported news agency ANI.

The matter was heard by a single judge, Justice M Nagaprasanna, who struck down the summons filed by the Enforcement Directorate. Along with quashing the summons for the Chief Minister's wife, the summons for Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh was also dismissed.

This development comes after the High Court in January stayed ED's summons to BM Parvathi and BS Suresh.

Amid the ongoing row over his controversial remark at comic Samay Raina's India's Got Latent, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia submitted written apologies to the National Commission for Women (NCW) along with content creator and social media personality Apoorva Mukhija on Friday.

Allahbadia, Mukhija, and two show producers Saurabh Bothra and Tushar Poojari appeared before the NCW on Thursday where they were quizzed for hours.
