The crucial Group B match between Australia and South Africa at ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was washed out without a ball bowled due to incessant rain at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday (February 25, 2025). The toss did not take place and a persistent drizzle in the region made play impossible. The Aussies and Proteas thus earned a point apiece to now possess three points each from two games. The next Group B game between Afghanistan and England is now a virtual eliminator, as whoever loses it would be out of semi-finals reckoning.
