With the trio stepping away from T20Is after India라이브 바카라 2024 T20 World Cup win, the big question is; will they keep their top contracts, or is a demotion on the cards?
The BCCI Central Contract is a yearly retainership system designed to reward and support senior men라이브 바카라 cricketers for their performances with the national team.
This structure ensures financial stability while motivating players to excel, dividing them into four categories, A+, A, B, and C, based on their consistency, role, and influence across formats.
Several media reports suggest that more changes could be on the way for BCCI's central contracts.
Chief selector Ajit Agarkar, head coach Gautam Gambhir, and BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia are expected to meet on March 29 in Guwahati to discuss India라이브 바카라 probable squad for the England tour in June, following the IPL. The meeting is also likely to finalize the central contracts for the men라이브 바카라 team.
Rohit, Kohli, and Jadeja currently hold A+ contracts, the highest tier in BCCI라이브 바카라 annual retainership system, typically reserved for players featuring in all formats. However, with all three having retired from T20Is, a demotion to the A category seems likely.
At present, Jasprit Bumrah seems to be the only certainty to retain his A+ central contract. ODI vice-captain Shubman Gill, previously in the A category, is a strong contender for promotion to the top tier.
Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was in the B category, could move up to A, with all-rounder Axar Patel also in contention for a similar promotion.
Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, and Abhishek Sharma are confirmed additions to the C category, which requires a player to have played a minimum of three Tests, eight ODIs, or ten T20Is within the designated timeframe.
On the other hand, Ruturaj Gaikwad라이브 바카라 place in this category remains uncertain, as his last match for India dates back to July 2024.
