Talking about the team, Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka has been announced as the captain for his dream run in 2024.
In 16 ODIs, Asalanka notched up 605 runs at an average of 50.2, amassing a hundred and four fifties. Sri Lanka also played 18 one-day internationals, also the highest among the teams, winning 12 of those matches.
Pakistan played nine ODIs, winning seven, while Afghanistan played 14 and came out victorious in eight.
Sherfane Rutherford is the only non-Asian in the XI, after a wonderful 2024, scoring 425 runs in nine matches, averaging 106.2.
