While the twenty-over format is seen as a young player라이브 바카라 game, requiring raw power and stamina, the veterans have had incredible success in IPL as well. Players like Chris Gayle and Daniel Vettori have attained incredible success despite joining the league at the twilight of their careers.

Similarly, the 18th edition will also feature several veteran stars, including bonafide legends like MS Dhoni. Below is a list of the five oldest players in IPL 2025, with the ages correct as of March 17.

Moeen Ali (37 years, 272 days)

English batter Moeen Ali, who is approaching his 38th birthday this year, will play his eighth IPL season this year, turning out for KKR. The left-hander joined the Knight Riders in IPL 2024 for INR 2 crore but only scored 128 runs in eight matches. He will look to better his recent record in the IPL this time around, and demonstrate that, despite calling the curtain on his international cricket, he still has a lot to offer in the shortest format.

Rohit Sharma (37 years, 321 days)

Rohit Sharma has already etched his name in IPL folklore, with his six titles making him the joint-most successful captain in the tournament. The Indian skipper is on the back of a successful Champions Trophy campaign and will look to keep up his rich vein of form as a justification for the INR 16.30 crores that Mumbai Indians (MI) spent to retain him. With 6628 runs in the IPL, Mumbai will look up to Rohit to lead their title challenge after a rotten season in 2024.

Ravichandran Ashwin (38 years, 181 days)

Few players can claim to be a better mascot of IPL라이브 바카라 impact on Indian cricket than Ravichandran Ashwin. Signed as a fresh-faced 21-year-old by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the inaugural season, Ashwin has gone on to be one of the finest spinners in the game라이브 바카라 history, taking 180 wickets in 212 matches for his IPL teams. He might be on the wrong side of his thirties now, but his effective bowling has prompted the Super Kings to invest INR 9.75 crore on him for IPL 2025.

Faf Du Plessis (40 years, 247 days)

The first 40-plus player on this list, South African batter Faf Du Plessis will be playing in the IPL for the 13th time. Despite being almost 41, Delhi Capitals bought him for INR 2 crore in the mega auction and named him vice-captain. The batter has shown no signs of slowing down, scoring more than 400 runs in the last five seasons. In fact, he has aged like fine wine, with his 2023 output of 730 runs being his career best.

MS Dhoni (43 years, 253 days)

MS Dhoni tops the list of the oldest players in IPL yet again, with the legendary wicketkeeper-batter holding a three-year seniority over Du Plessis. Dhoni has been effectively reduced to the role of a finisher in the CSK line-up, but he has been ever-present in the team, playing 14 games last season. Even though he is no more team captain, his presence of the field is a mighty boost to the squad, and skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad will lean on his expertise and batting skills in their bid to win the sixth IPL title.
