The 21-year-old Brevis joins the franchise for Rs 2.2 crore, filling CSK라이브 바카라 vacant overseas slot in a move that could inject much-needed firepower into their faltering campaign.

Brevis, who made his T20I debut for South Africa in 2023 and has played two international matches so far, has already featured in 81 T20s overall, amassing 1787 runs at a strike rate of 144.93.

His highest score of 162 in T20s is a testament to his aggressive stroke play, and his recent form in franchise cricket has further strengthened his reputation as a rising star.

Nicknamed "Baby AB" for his batting style reminiscent of AB de Villiers, Brevis was previously part of the Mumbai Indians setup. Though he played just 10 matches for MI in the IPL, his performances in other leagues have kept him in the spotlight.

In the recently concluded 2025 SA20 League, he was the sixth highest run-getter with 291 runs, showcasing his ability to dominate quality bowling attacks.

Apart from his stint with MI, Brevis has represented MI New York in Major League Cricket, the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League, and the New York Strikers in the Abu Dhabi T10, adding valuable global T20 experience to his resume.

CSK, who currently find themselves at the bottom of the points table with only two wins from seven games, will hope that Brevis can provide the spark needed to turn their season around. They face Mumbai Indians next at the Wankhede Stadium on April 20.

The MI match will be followed by two home games at the MA Chidambaram Stadium — against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 25 (Match 43) and Punjab Kings on April 30 (Match 49).

The team then heads to Bengaluru for a key southern derby against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on May 3 (Match 52), before traveling to Kolkata to face a strong KKR unit at Eden Gardens on May 7 (Match 57).

CSK return to their fortress on May 12 to take on Rajasthan Royals (Match 63), and round off their league stage with an away game against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 18 (Match 69), a rare afternoon clash starting at 3:30 PM.
